Clean, Minimal Studio Portrait Photography in Ann Arbor

Over the past year, I’ve had several clients reach out to ask whether I offer studio portraits in Ann Arbor. While outdoor sessions work beautifully during the warmer months, winter in Michigan often calls for a comfortable, well-lit indoor photography studio.

After one of those inquiries, my husband mentioned that he thought he’d seen a local studio space available for rent. A quick Google search led me to StudioStudio, a rental photography studio in Ann Arbor, and it immediately stood out. One of the things I love most about StudioStudio is how accessible it is—it’s affordable, available to rent by the hour, and the booking process is simple and straightforward.

So when Mike reached out to schedule professional portrait photography in December, it felt like the perfect opportunity to try the space! His outfit naturally lent itself to a minimal, simple approach, and by using the furniture in the studio, we were able to create clean, thoughtfully styled portraits.
